Want to make your own set of two plates for your home? Join us for a fun clay workshop and learn to make hand-built plates with Yvette Garcia-Mier from Barro Ceramics. We will explore different hand-building techniques to create different shapes and textures. We will also use different stamps and lace to create interesting surface decorations.
This workshop is 3 hours and would include all the tools, clay, colours, firing and clear glazing. After the workshop pieces will be dried, fired and glazed and should be ready for collection within 3 to 4 weeks. You will get an email to let you know once pieces are ready to collect.
Clay can be a little messy, so be sure to bring an apron or an old t-shirt.
